Brandywine Valley Consulting offers Executive and Leadership Coaching at all organizational levels, from individual contributors, to first line supervisors, to CEOs. Our development process is an individualized experience that focuses on building a leader’s capability to achieve his or her short- and long-term organizational goals through candid feedback, personal guidance and the teaching of new skills.

BVC’s coaching provides a place for executives and leaders to calibrate strategy and evaluate themselves and their performance with an objective third party. Coaching at BVC involves three levels of learning:

Tactical Problem Solving

This coaching involves the exploration, definition, and implementation of the executive’s leadership and the organization’s business objectives for performance improvement. Through problem solving and planning, rehearsal and on-the-job practice, and candid feedback and dialoguing, BVC will coach leaders to develop the most effective plan of action for successful development.

Leadership Capabilities Development

BVC will coach individuals into new ways of thinking and acting that can generalize to other situations and roles. These capabilities may be advanced through contracting, pre-coaching needs analysis and planning; data gathering, including 360 degree feedback; goal setting and development of coaching plan; implementation of coaching plan; measuring and reporting results; and transitioning to long-term development.

 

 


“Learning How to Learn”
This level is an important and sometimes overlooked goal of coaching, as it aims to eliminate a leader’s long-term dependency on the coach and teach habits of learning that will last a lifetime, enabling the leader to keep developing throughout his or her career. BVC coaches leaders to develop the skills and habits of self-reflection to ensure continuous improvement will continue after our coaching ends.
